Our assignment is to compare ratios of two big companies annual reports. However we are stuck on one part of the assignment which is the Investors Ratios. This means calculating EARNINGS PER SHARE (profit after tax/Number of share issued=£)-DIVIDEND PER SHARE (dividend/number of shares issued=£) -DIVIDEND COVER (earnings/share/dividend/share+Number of times)-DIVIDEND YIELD (dividend/share/market price/share x 100=%) -PRICE EARNING RATIOS (Market price/share/earnings/share= number of times).
