Goal
All organizations regardless of their size must carry out certain activities in the area of human resource management. The objective of this group project is to provide you some practical training in designing human resource activities.
Instructions
Part ONE:
– Briefly describe your organization and its strategic mission (max. 1/2 page).
– Develop a list of three functions that the HR department of the University is supposed to carry out (recruiting, development and training, compensation, etc.) (max. 1 page):
o Provide a brief description of these functions and their importance.
o Try to estimate the number of specialists of the HR department that will be enough for each function (based on the size of your company).
– Describe the hiring strategy of your company:
o Try to differentiate three groups of employees and describe your hiring approach for each group (engineers, accountant, managers, etc.). – After providing a job offer to the best candidate and accepting it, he joins your company. What are the steps that you could make to ensure that he is integrated smoothly into your company; epically he is from different culture (max. 1/2 page).
– Describe a system of evaluation and motivation that you would propose to the company administration, in order to keep the three groups of employees for a long time, and avoid high turnover rate (max. 1 page).
