To do this, you need to draw on the essential and further reading listed at the end of Topic 6 in the Study Guide, as well as on any other relevant literature. In this part you can discuss the extent to which practice-based learning is appropriate for that workplace or occupation, as well as the issues involved in integrating practice-based learning in an education or training program. Summarise the main points above and present a conclusion about the extent to which experiences in practice settings (i.e. workplaces) can develop the capacities that will ensure a smooth transition to practice and carry out their work effectively (and if appropriate, recommendations about how best should the learning provision be made effective).
