Two week Integrated program with a focus upon 5 lessons for Year 2 class
Task
Develop a sequence of five lessons (but no actual lesson plans) that will be taught over two weeks during your practicum. The content and scope of these lessons will naturally be dependent on the classroom context in which you will be teaching, and to some extent, the teaching practices and philosophy of your supervising teacher.
Demonstrate the process for your planning through inclusion of:
• Structured overview of your lessons (what/who/why/how) 2 pages
• A daily work pad (will upload sample work pad to use for the format, use A3 size) covering the 2 weeks, showing when you will be teaching your 5 lessons and including sufficient detail with regards to curriculum links, learning experiences, methods of assessing student progress etc. for those 5 lessons. Note: A brief outline of the other lessons throughout the week is all that is required (subject/area/lesson purpose). The purpose of including all other lessons in the 2 week period is to demonstrate that you have integrated your 5 lessons into the overall activity within the classroom.
• One assessment rubric that would be used for one of your assessment tasks

It must reflect your own teaching philosophy that was explained in Assignment One( which was an order you also completed for me on the 16th of march). The five-lesson sequence should also reflect the requirements for the practicum as outlined in the Professional
Practice Handbook and incorporate how you would implement „best practice‟ in assessment.
Be sure to include:
• Curriculum links (Australian Curriculum)
• Integration in several learning areas
• Means to cater for and assess varying levels of student ability and achievement
• Appropriate assessment and evaluation practices
• Logically sequenced lessons leading to desired outcomes
It should be possible for another teacher to be able to follow and implement your lessons if needed without major concerns.
