Group case Study – The assignment will assess the students ability to critically evaluate academic literature within a specific scope. In this case the topic of research will be on strategic uses of collaborative work technologies. This group project will give students the opportunity to research the topic in depth. It is imperative for students to become acquainted with how technology potentially affects business strategies.
Criteria & Marking:
This assessment requires students to select multiple, topic relevant, academic papers to analyze and critically appraise. Each group of students will select a technology, a social process, and a business application and write, using about 500 words, a concise critique of each topic. Different tasks will require both individual and collaborative efforts and will be discussed in the first lecture. As part of this assessment students are required to have their collaboration assessed.
