Submit a critical review of one article, in writing, describing factors that facilitate the learning of English as a second Language. Historical data? Personal experiences? ? Implications: How do the author?s ideas support or challenge the content of our course? What are the implications of the author?s ideas? Do they call for policy changes for linguistic and cultural minorities? Do they suggest a need for more research? ? Examples: What do you think of the author?s ideas? Do you agree or disagree with them? Why? Can you support your stance through your experiences as a student or an educator? Are the ideas implementable in a classroom environment and how? ? Resources: Your informed opinion based on concepts from the course or any additional reading you do during your research of the topic. (Will be graded on content, grammar, and cohesive/concise summary.) Since graduate research should contain at least three references, you are expected to use and cite a number of sources appropriate for graduate-level work. You may use Internet sources in addition to your text and cite these on the final slide. Remember: mechanics count! Attach a copy of the article, if it is not included in the bibliography
