The assignment involves the preparation of report describing the data analysis procedures, presenting and interpreting the results and providing managerial implications, for a business research problem described in following scenarios.
The data to be used for the analyses are available in the Excel spreadsheet allocated to you.
You will be required to attach a printouts of the SPSS output as appendix to this report. Without the SPSS output the report, you will receive a zero mark. The report should follow the conventions when reporting the results of data analysis.
You need to identify the information required for decision making, by the decision maker, from the scenario. You should then specify the data analysis technique(s) that would be appropriate for answering all research questions.
1. How will each research question be tested ? ( through correlation or regression analysis , for example)
2. How many pieces of information do you need ? How many techniques do you need to generate the information required?
3. Keep in mind that the analysis procedures should be consistent with the design, objectives and sampling methods employed in the scenario
That is , you will have to identify appropriate analytic techniques, briefly describe them and provide a rationale for why they are appropriate , use them to produce results , and tell the manager /decision maker what the results mean and how they answer the research questions ( be sure to justify your choices )
