For example, if you believe that a pre-test or post-test of knowledge is an appropriate quantitative data collection method for the program you are investigating, you will need to stipulate the rationale for this selection, the type of data you will expect to gather, how you will review and analyze the data, and an idea of the impact that information will have or could have on the program. In other words, describe who will use the evaluation data and for what purpose. Providing a sample of the potential data collection instrument will contribute to your explanation.
