Primary Task Response Knowing why you want to enter into the field you have chosen or advance within your current career is important. It is equally important that you have a thorough understanding of the organizations and job opportunities within your target field. Research is key to a successful job search and will be of great benefit to you as you target specific organizations and fields. Assignment: Create a list of 10 organizations and their Web sites that fit within your target job market (one of which can be your current organization). Input them into your Target Organization Web Site List by selecting the Organization & Web Site List tab at the bottom of the Career Management Tracking Tool that you utilized within the Phase 1 Discussion Board. As you conduct your research, consider the potential each organization offers. Upload the tracking tool as an attached Excel document to the Discussion Board area. Next, choose 3 organizations. In 3–4 paragraphs within the Discussion Board area, share the following information with your classmates for the 3 organizations you researched (for those of you who want to advance within your current organization, this is an excellent opportunity to think through where you may want to grow within your organization or field): Name of the organization Mission of the organization Career options within the organization 3 aspects of the organization that align with your goals Upload your Career Management Tracking Tool as an attached Excel document and submit 3–4 paragraphs on the Phase 2 Discussion Board area. Part B: Responses to Other Students Respond to at least 2 of your fellow classmates with at least 2 paragraphs regarding items you found thought provoking about their primary task response. To help you with your discussion, please consider the following questions: What did you learn from reviewing the organization information of your classmate? What additional information would you like to know about the organization that was not included in his or her overview?
