As you approach this task you should consider such aspects of the story as the writing style of the two versions; the themes that are addressed and emphasized; the purposes and assumed audiences of the two versions. When you find significant differences, consider why the modern storyteller chose to make the changes.
In your essay you should NOT tell me why you like or dislike a particular story; you should NOT tell me how the story relates to your own life; you should NOT retell the stories themselves — this is not a book report, but rather an analysis of the two texts.

The other Cinderella story that i want you to compare it too is a movie called "A Cinderella Story" starring Hilary Duff, and Chad Michael Murray. I want you to actually read the small classic fairy tale and actually watch the movie.
