This should include a brief description of where and with whom the placement took place, including a brief history
3. Basis of project or task requirement 20%
This section should detail the basis of any specific project/s, or research undertaken plus tasks. It should be noted that for some students, there will not have been a specific project, but there will have been a need to undertake certain duties and responsibilities which will have provided valuable experience.
4. Outcomes from placement 30%
The student should detail the outcomes from the work undertaken and clearly demonstrate evidence of what they actually did, and how this has benefited the organisation. It might be appropriate to include a SWOT analysis of the placement organisation
5. Recommendations 10%
This section should be used to suggest/propose recommendations to the placement provider based on the outcomes set out in section 4.
6. Conclusions 20%
This section must concentrate on reflecting on what you, the student, have learnt from the overall work experience. Details must be included of what new skills were gained or existing skills developed by the student, and supported by evidence through specific actions undertaken. It would be appropriate to conduct a personal SWOT analysis at this stage. Put simply, please reflect on how you have changed, and what you have learnt about yourself.
