5. The author refers to Marcus Aurelius and his tent, candle, and plain table and the need for reflection time. Another author, Ron Heifitz, in his book Leadership Without Easy Answers, uses the analogy of leaders needing time to "go to the balcony," implying the need for reflection and distance. Where is your tent, candle, and plain table? (pg. 124) And how will you use this concept to help you as you grow as a leader?
