( personal you can write whatever you want, client I asked mother if she is willing to have family therapy or individual therapy outside the hospital she said that she doesn’t have any problems and decline my proposition this proposition was suggested in class during the presentation, also I proposed if the father wants to participate in the sessions mother declined too and this was suggested by class mates as well during the presentation.
Institutional- I already did the flash card but mother lost the cards so I’m planning to make new one’s prior next appointment.
2. How did the class help you to answer the questions and concerns you presented? In what ways did the class process and feedback make you feel supported or not supported?
I like that everyone in class are new to this field, everyone is future Social Workers and the suggestions that they gave was very helpful. For example they suggested family therapy and I wasn’t even taking to the consideration when I went home I did a research (you can talk more here about maybe how it helps in many cases and that my case is very difficult and might work for my client too) Also many questions about the father and how he can help mother I explore this with mother next appointment but she was very resistant ( you can talk about how clients can be resistant in difficult situations)
3. Did you gain new insights that you consider important in moving the case forward ? Discuss and elaborate.
