I would always run around and get into minor trouble ever since I can remember. Breaking windows trashing abandon houses and things kids do. I went into foster care at age 9 up until I was 12. At age 12 (junior high) is when I really started getting in trouble with the law and caught my first case for stealing a car.
What happened the night you shot at the neighborhood watch?
I was waiting at Hagginwood park for one of my homies. He was having trouble with another kid we knew from the neighborhood. I was no killer but I was down for my boy who expressed to me that he didn’t feel safe with the other kid being around. So I asked him what he wanted to do and he said he wanted to down the kid. So I was waiting at the park for my boy to show up and mentally preparing myself to do something I know was seriously wrong. Long story short my boy never showed up but the neighborhood watch guy did. He never identified himself as neighborhood watch but just conducted himself really suspiciously (looking into my car and trying my door handle). I watched from a distance and honestly thought he was trying to break into my car. I ran up to him unarmed at first trying to see what his deal was but he jumped back in his car and took off. Now even more I thought he was a jacker. So when he came back again I approached his car armed this time and he began to drive towards me. Once I drew down on him he swerved out of the way and tried to drive off. I fired one shot in his passenger side door. It ended up lodging right in the pillar between the front and back passenger side window at head level. I always thank God it wasn’t an inch or two to the right or left. After that I drove home and was apprehended shortly thereafter.
Before you went to prison had you been in any trouble with the law before?
I had a pretty lengthy juvenile record prior to going to prison. From 12 on to 18 I had. GTA’s, petty thefts, assaults, marijuana & meth sales. I was pretty much in and out of juvenile hall and group homes from 12 to 18.
