TOPIC: This assignment asks you to read Richard Lee’s ethnography The Dobe Ju/’hoansi and compare/contrast !Kung subsistence practices with American subsistence practices. The introduction of your paper should identify whether your comparison of two cultures is an exercise in ethnography or ethnology. The body of your paper should compare and contrast American & Ju culture using a minimum of 5 points. Be consistent in your comparison for example, compare population size with population size, rules of property ownership with rules of property ownership, etc. Support your statements of comparison/contrast with specific examples from The Dobe Ju/’hoansi and your outside references.
