responding to these questions.
2. Explain in detail your understanding of the local government’s role in responding to natural disasters in consideration of the outcomes in Hurricane Katrina.
Grading
The Hurricane Katrina essays have a value of 20 points. They will be graded on (1) comprehensiveness, accuracy, and critical thinking, and (2) writing mechanics.
The grading scale is as follows:
A= 30.0-28.5 A- = 28.5-27.0 B+ = 26.5-26.0 B = 25.5-25.0
B- = 24.5-24.0 C+ = 23.5-23.0 C = 22.5-22.0 C- = 21.5-21.0
