As noted in the Syllabus, the Capstone Project, which consists of a Term Paper and a Presentation, will comprise 60% of your final grade for this course. State facts accurately in your project; all sources of information must be properly cited.
PROJECT TOPIC Selection:
There are four basic rules of topic selection:
Your topic must be relevant to the aviation/aerospace industry.
Your topic must be of interest to you.
Your topic must not be too broad, so narrow down your topic. (For example, “The Northrop B2 Bomber” would be an extremely broad topic and unacceptable for your Project. Appropriately narrowed topics might include “Stealthy Characteristics of the B2” or possibly “A comparison of Radar Reflective and Radar Absorbent Materials Used in Military Aircraft.”).
Your instructor must approve your topic.
PAPER FORMAT:
Follow the guidelines for APA format. Use double-spacing with one-inch top, bottom, left, and right margins; use Times-New-Roman size 12 font. You must include a title page and a reference page. At least one Reference must come from the EU Online Library. (See “Library Link” under “Course Home” for instructions on accessing the EU Net Library). All works listed on the reference page must be cited in your work and all citations appearing in your work must appear on your reference page. 20 typed content pages is the minimum length for the paper,so with title page and reference page, 22 pages is expected.
PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
Use Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare a graphical presentation of the information contained in your paper. You are encouraged to use photos and graphics in your presentation. A reference page/slide is not required if the references match those used in the paper. A minimum of 12 content slides supporting your paper plus a title page is expected. Prepare the presentation as if you were going to present it to an audience.
PROJECT TIMELINE/BENCHMARKS:
Week One: Topic selection must be submitted to the Dropbox NLT Sunday of Week One.
Week Two: A partial list of References to be used/cited in the Project must be submitted to the Dropbox NLT Sunday of Week Two.
Week Three: A complete Reference List in proper APA format must be submitted to the Dropbox NLT Sunday of Week Three.
Week Four: The completed Project (Paper and Presentation) must be submitted to the Dropbox no later than the last day of the course, which is Saturday.

25% Paragraph form, Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation
25% Expression and Clarity of Thought.
