This is the poem i would like for you to use:-
“I loved you…” by Alexander Pushkin
I loved you, and I probably still do,
And for a while the feeling may remain…
But let my love no longer trouble you,
I do not wish to cause you any pain.
I loved you; and the hopelessness I knew,
The jealousy, the shyness – though in vain –
Made up a love so tender and so true
As may God grant you to be loved again.

***here is why i picked the poem (add to it if you would like): the poem I decided to write about is”I loved you…” by Alexander Pushkin.
i picked this poem because i know everyone including i can relate to it. we have all loved someone at some point in our life. a family member, a friend, a pet. etc! … we all experienced “love” or what we think love really is at some point. *****

***why i relate to the poem:- i have lost a best friend over people lying to both of us and people trying to come in between us. even though we both hurt each other i felt like she was more unfair to me than i was to her. but i cant say i didn’t hurt her as well. i let go of our friendship in a heart beat after telling her how much i loved her friendship. i could say i have an excuse because she betrayed me as a friend. but in all honesty all i wanna do is apologize for hurting her and making her feel like i let go of our friendship over a silly argument. in the part “But let my love no longer trouble you,
I do not wish to cause you any pain.” i wanna say to her for the accusation she accused me off and even though they were all made up in her head i would still apologize to her. “As may God grant you to be loved again.” i really do hope she could find and trust someone again, maybe we weren’t the right friends for each other. i still do wish her all the best and happiness in life.
