HIGHER WORD COUNT: Prepare a minimum 1,500-word Simulation paper in which you address the following 4 items:
• Section 1. (25%). Citing the simulation, for each of the four major phases in the simulation, briefly describe the results you earned from the simulation, regarding: The situation, your recommended solution(s), including why you felt they would be appropriate, your results – positive or negative, according to the simulation.
• In the rest of the paper, use the simulation, the text and at least one outside source from the UOPX library that is credible to the topic. All criterion sections should be supported with APA style cited readings. Summarize the organizational psychology concepts addressed in this simulation by answering the following three sections: Don’t just define the topic. Apply it back to the simulation to show your critical thinking in making recommendations that will work with the situation. This is what an Organizational Psychologist does when meeting with a client. They investigate the situation, conduct interviews and tests, then make recommendations that are industry proven methods – but they have to justify to the client why those methods will work with the client.
• Section 2 (25%). Based on the situation illustrated in the simulation, what theory/theories of employee motivation could be used to increase productivity? Why would this work on the employees in the simulation? Cite the readings and the simulation to support your points.
• Section 3 (25%). Based on your findings from the simulation, how can knowledge of human behavior, cognition, and affect, be used to enhance relationships in the workplace? How is it best applied in the simulation? Cite the readings and the simulation to support your points.
• Section 4 (25%). Based on your findings from the simulation, how can organizations reduce workplace stressors for employees? How should it be applied in the simulation? Cite the readings and the simulation to support your points.
NOTE: if you only complete the simulation, and write about the first criterion as a personal essay with no other APA formatting or following these directions, a minimum effort grade will be given. The full 15 points depend on all four criterion sections, following directions, and correct APA style at this point in the class. The feedback on two papers to this point and all the tools available to you are enough warning what is expected. At this point in the class, turning in a paper without thorough support of each of the four criterion writing sections and without citing the simulation will result in a 0 for the assignment.
