Case Study of A manufacturer of digital cameras and other photographic equipment sells their product line through a network of retailers Custom Essay

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

Several plants located around the world produce the products that are shipped to the warehouses, where the products are held in inventory for use to supply retailers. Camera products are scheduled for production based on orders from the warehouses. The warehouses stock product based on anticipated orders from retailers. Retailers reorder for their in-store inventories based on sales forecasts for their local territories. Trucking is used to move product throughout the supply channel (plant-warehouse-retail store). Uncertainties in the supply channel result from missed forecasts, transport delays, changed production schedules, unanticipated product promotions, and inaccurate inventory count.

Your task is to design/develop an ordering system as an alternative to the current ordering process discussed above. You should use best practices from successful companies (one or more) found on the internet or trade journals. Define the type of information that each channel member should supply, how ordering decisions should be made, how uncertainties should be handled. From the company/companies you selected, what overall advantages might be available if a Web-based ordering system is used?

The purpose of this assignment is to critically watch and review a movie with popular culture themes/symbols in terms of the sociological perspective and cultural theories.

-Were there specific scenes or occurrences which stood out as being essential to the development of the story and/or to your understanding of it?
-Major substantive points of the movie?
-Any secondary points made?

You may want to narrow your research and concentrate on the international aspects of ADR. I am specifically interested in international mediation. It might also be helpful for you to review the description an actual mediation and arbitration. Your paper could use a case study to provide an example of ADR. Are there any requirements to act as an international arbitrator/mediator? How do mediators bridge the language gap? Are ADR sessions primarily in English?)

Writing Expectations Custom Essay

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

As this is a graduate history course, there are expectations that students turn in assignments and papers that are proof-read and written in a style that demonstrates good grammar and sentence and paragraph construction. Assignments completed in a narrative essay or composition format must follow the accepted guidelines of the American historical profession, which is the Chicago Manual of Style. This course will require students to use the citation and reference style established by Kate Turabian in A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 7th ed. (Chicago, IL: University of Chicago Press, 1996), which is the most readily available distillation of the Chicago Manual. See Chicago Style Manual.

The Chicago Style Manual for book-length works and its Turabian offshoot for research papers have long been the standard across all fields of study, as well as much of the publishing industry. These texts cover the layout and production gamut–including rules for chapter headings and subheadings, abbreviations, alphabetizing non-English names, and table design/designation.

1. Front matter–e.g., title page, copyright statement, dedication, table of contents, lists of illustrations or tables, acknowledgements, abstract.
2. Narrative with scholarly attributions.
3. Back matter–bibliography, appendices.

Citation and Reference Style
History papers are distinguished by standardized notational schema. These display the primary and secondary sources being quoted or used in the construction. Your professors will certainly call for footnotes or endnotes, but also may request a formal bibliography:
Endnotes/Footnotes, the primary focus in Turabian, are used to indicate the source of a quotation, paraphrase, or resources–as well as to add explanations or digressions outside the flow of the main narrative.
Bibliography is an optional device at the end of the paper, which highlights the materials cited as a separate, alphabetized list in addition to the endnotes or footnotes.

Turabian and the Chicago Manual use sequential Arabic numbers. The numbers are normally collective and at the end of quotations, paraphrased sentences, or paragraphs for collected references. Note numbers:
o May be in-line, but preferably set in raised superscript.1
o Should come at the end of the paragraph and collectively account for the resources used. Do not insert for each sentence. The exception is if a short quotation is used within a paragraph. Then cite as appropriate for the information preceding the quotation, the quotation itself (after commas, quotations marks, periods, or other final diacritics), and at the end of the paragraph if needed for subsequent information.
o Must follow one another in numerical order, beginning with 1 and running continuously throughout the paper.

How effective has Groupon’s decision to become a public limited company been as a growth strategy for Groupon Inc Custom Essay

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

This research paper should be very close to 4000 words (but may not exceed that word limit). The Research Question is: How effective has Groupon’s decision to become a public limited company been as a growth strategy for Groupon Inc.?
I will provide a detailed criteria for the paper by sending a fax.
A possible structure of the essay would be: Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Body with different paragraphs and a Conclusion + the Work Cited & possibly an Appendix.
The paper should include the appropriate use and application of selected analytical tools such as a SWOT analysis, Porter’s Five Force analysis or the Industry Life Cycle to analyze the secondary data that was gathered. These are just suggestions that I feel fit to the question but feel free to use other ones if they seem better to the research.

Discusses ‘No matter what social role an image plays, the creation of an image through a camera lens always involves some degree of subjective choice through selection, framing, and personalization Custom Essay

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

‘No matter what social role an image plays, the creation of an image through a camera lens always involves some degree of subjective choice through selection, framing, and personalization… All camera-generated images, be they photographic, cinematic, or electronic (video or computer-generated), bear the cultural legacy of still photography, which historically has been regarded as a more objective practice than, say, painting or drawing. This combination of the subjective and the objective is a central tension in camera-generated images.
