At NY friend of family suggest to work for her friend who is in need of cleaning lady. She works for some time for Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The family dynamic is as follows (mother is a bit OCD, father is laid back and 12 year old son is apathetic). Mrs. X is aprehensive about Anna’s lack of experience but hires her anyways because she urgently needs someone. One evening after work she is wished good night by a strange neighbore who took a notice of her. He is in his mid 60th and Anna is late 20th. He is strange, donquixotic, creepy, kind and delusional. One day Anna is doing her cleaning routine when she hears femaile screaming. she turns around and breaks something. the father walks into the room explaining to her that it was just their strange neighbore watching his favorite horror movies as always. he also tells her not to worry and that he will talk to his wife. the next day Anna gets fired because of the fact that she broke something in a cold manner. Anna is upset but meets the strange neighbore who lives on the same floor. he lures her into the apartment and wants to attack her but something prevents him from doing so. He has a delusion that he is a vampire but Anna doesn’t know about it yet. He offers her a job before she leaves. Anna starts cleaning for him and he starts telling her stories from old horror films posing himself as the main character (vampire). He believes that those stories happened to him. At some point he asks her to get him blood. she goes to speed dating and picks the biggest jerk out of all the guys that she met there and gets him into the apartment. he sits by the tv that plays horror movie in amazement. he enjoys horror movies aparently as anna walks from behind and hits him over the head with something heavy. “The vampire” decides not to kill him and just drops him at the bench in the park. “The Vampire” (David) also attends club meetings for the elderly where one guy bugs him. he tries to get rid of him but that guy wouldn’t let him go so he invites him over and the guy disappears. All this time on TV there are news of mysterious serial killer operating in the area. Anna is slightly suspicious that it could be David. However, one evening she walks late after her work and a stranger attacks from behind. He is the serial killer operating in the area. However, David rushes to her rescue and gets wounded by the killer. Anna grabs David and together they walk to his apartment. Anna offers calling hospital but David wants nothing but to watch his favorite horror films. Usually laughs at horror films. This time Anna laughs alone and looks at David to see how come he is not laughing and realizes that he is dead continues watching the movie.
