f. Sources from which the product can be obtained.
g. Factors affecting the supply, demand, price, and inventory of the selected product (an analysis of general business conditions is not intended in this question); however, substitute possibilities and value-analysis considerations should be covered.
h. Detailed sources of information on the selected product.
This report should be written from the viewpoint of a supply manager needing to provide a report for a superior in regards to a new item their organization is looking into. The new item can be a new item for resale or a part of a new end-item product being considered for production, and so on.
In addition to the above evaluation criteria, each report will be graded on structure, spelling, and grammar. Each report must have a cover page containing at least the following information: report title, student name, course name, and date of report. The report needs to have 1? margins, be double-spaced, and have ?? indentions for each paragraph. The report must also contain a ?works cited? or ?bibliography?. The length of the report will be determined by the content, but should not be less than 5 pages and no more than 25 pages, including any appendices. Note: Cover pages are not part of the required page count. Report covers/folders are optional, and, if not in a cover, should be stapled in the top, left-hand corner.
