Mrs. V’s doctor told her to quit smoking and gave her a prescription for a nicotine patch. Mrs. V was visited by the Physical Therapist who gave her an exercise program and discussed it with her. The dietician met with her regarding a heart healthy diet. Cardiac rehabilitation is ordered following her discharge. Mrs. V told you that she really likes to smoke and is not sure that she can quit smoking. She also states that she does not like to exercise, so she is not sure about the cardiac rehab program.
