Your faculty supervisor can give you advice on how to create, save, and print your poster. Below are some general guidelines to follow.
Content: Your poster should include (1) author and affiliation (your name, supervisor’s name, and the Geography Department); (2) title; (3) background or introduction; (4) methods and materials; (5) results; (6) conclusions; and, (7) acknowledgements.
How to create your poster: You can use a variety of software programs to create your poster, including PowerPoint.
Poster size: 34" x 44" (printed on a large format printer in color).
How to print your poster: posters should be saved as PDFs. You can print one (and only one) copy of your poster on the department’s large format printer. Your faculty supervisor will advise you when your poster is ready to print, and must assist you in printing the poster.
