I suggest you look up the FTSE ? using either the WEB or obtaining a copy of the Financial Times. I would also suggest you go to the company website of the company you are thinking of being chosen.

This is a report. This means that it should have a contents page and a summary.
Analysis and history of the development of the company
This should be between 500 and 1000 words and should contain details of the type of company, its relative size, what it trades in, where, where it started and large scale events in the last decade.
Financial Analysis
This will be based upon (but not solely constrained to) ratios analysis of the last two years figures (which should be obtained from the last set of financial statements). Each ratio should have details of how the calculation has been made in the appendices. You should have copies of the Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and Cash Flow Statement for the latest year (also in the appendices). These should provide sufficient reference for the calculations but if not then copies of other notes to the financial statements can be provided.
The analysis should include the change in the ratio, whether that is good (or bad) why the change might have happened, other relevant information including industry averages performance of competitors etc.
