Using chapters 7 to 10 of Walton and Smith as the basis for a starting point discuss whether the resources are present or have been utilized to achieve the objective of universal freedom.
B. 3 to 5 pages Value 50 points
Using chapters 11 to 15 of Walton and Smith as the basis for a starting point, discuss the extent to which there have been institutional responses to the African American quest for universal freedom, social and economic justice.

A. 1 to 2 pages – 10 points
Do African Americans have anything more than a minor role to play in the foreign and defense policy process of the United States? Your response should demonstrate that you have knowledge of the manner in which foreign policy is created, conducted, and evaluated.
B. 1 to 2 pages
Identify a topic that you think was important for this class. In a substantive manner reflect on how the study of the topic you have chosen expanded your knowledge or caused you to develop an interest in that particular area of the study of Black politics? What would you recommend be done in the future to enhance the ability of students to learn more about the specific topic you have chosen or the study of Black politics in general?
