However, it is imperative that you choose the right type of journal, as this is key to the assessment.There will be an opportunity in the week of Session 6 for the tutor to check the appropriateness of journal.The format of the assessment is to produce a PowerPoint presentation of no more than 10 slides (excluding references and bibliography) YOU WILL NOT BE PRESENTING THIS but you will be assessed on the following:1. Choosing an appropriate journal related to the above topics2. Defining and clearly understanding your chosen topic (using additional academic evidence and referencing)3. Clearly understand what the journal argument is, the key theories used and why?4. Organising your review in a clear structure as you only have 10 slides5. Clear analysis and evaluation, using other peer-reviewed journals and books to support analysis6. Use of any relevant case-studies to support your arguments7. Additional slides with references (what you have referenced directly) and the bibliography (additional reading you have made)Component 2 WORTH 40% of assessment oneWrite a 600-word essay that critically reflects on your approach to choosing this journal? In other words: Did this choice of journal meet the required academic standards and an appropriate topic for discussion? How did you find the process of researching the topic, what worked well and what would you do differently if you were asked to do the task again?
