· Write a clear, coherent, and well-structured argument concerning influences on ethical
decision-making that is well-supported by the relevant literature
· Apply relevant ethical theories to identify and analyse ethical problems in business
· Critically reflect on personal learning and management implications (links between theory
and practice) arising from the film-based analysis
1. The Films
It is up to you to acquire and watch your chosen film in your own time. Both films can
be rented, purchased or viewed easily and cheaply from a variety of outlets (e.g.
Amazon.co.uk, Lovefilm.com, Netflix etc.). If buying a DVD, it may be a good idea to
get together in small groups to pool your resources and share round copies with
others in your group.
Make detailed notes as you watch the film. You will need to watch the film more than
once. If you watch the film in a group it can be useful to discuss and check your
understanding with each other. NOTE: This is NOT a group project – all submitted
work must be based on your own individual efforts and ideas. Never collude or copy
from others (see UG Handbook).
