Conduct an observation of human social behavior in a public place (i.e., supermarket, church, nightclub, arcade, sporting event) but not in a private area (i.e., bathroom, bedroom). Specific references should be made in the observation to principles discussed in the assigned chapters. These may include appropriate topics from the sections Social Influence (chapters 5-8) and Social Relations (chapters 9-11), for example, attraction, aggression, conformity, gender, group influence, persuasion and prejudice. Write a brief review of literature on the concept you wish to explore and the question you hope to explore. Then summarize your methods, the people observed, the setting, and your observations. Indicate how your observational findings relate to research in the area. The write up should take no more than five pages of text. Also include a cover page and reference list in APA style.
