Over the course of the semester, we have discussed and analyzed a number of aspects of the American judicial process, including { but not limited to { judicial nominations, the jury system, the structure of the federal courts, and the power of judicial review. For your final paper, choose one such element of the judicial process 1 and a.) propose a reform or b.) defend it from reformers. Your paper should draw from both the class readings and outside sources. You are very strongly encouraged, though not required, to discuss your research with me before submitting your paper.
Papers should be about 8-10 pages (standard-sized font and margins, double-spaced) and properly
cited.

So here is an email I received from my professor. The topic I choose was constitutional interpretation but this is what he emailed me back. And I have an exam and another paper that I need to work on, So I desperately need your help please…If you have any questions email me please.
There may be a topic within constitutional interpretation that you could do, but you need to make sure you have a specific reform to consider. One approach I’d allow (which deviates a little from the assignment description) is to defend one method of interpretation against the others. To do that well would be challenging (most of the stuff written on it are dense law journal articles), but it can be done if it grabs your interest. If you have another approach you were considering and want to run by me, I’d be happy to look at that, too.
