This paper is to accompany my painting which morphs together a flamenco dancer (Spanish) with a skeleton (Day of the Dead – Latin American) for my WOMEN in hispanic culture class which covered from Medieval to 16-19th Centuries to Modern and Contemporary.
The paper should be an analysis that connects the artwork in relation to the theme (trans-atlantic) and explain it’s role in Hispanic culture. (Possibly a connection to Carmen or Evita in Spain to WOMEN’s influence of Day of the Dead in Mexico?)
