Your goal is to create a PowerPoint presentation depicting life in your colony between the years of 1650 and 1799. you must research what life was like in your colony during colonial times. you should want to convince someone they should choose YOUR colony to live in.
Your presentation should have one slide for each of these topics:
– your first slide should have your name,the name of your colony, and the date

– the next slide should have a map of your colony (Not a CURRENT STATE map, but a map from the time it was a colony.)
– history of your colony- who started it and why.
– what kind of government is there- NOT TODAY’S STATE GOVERNMENT. What kind of government did they have AT THAT TIME. Give examples of what some of the laws were there that might affect someone.
– what was the climate like.
– how did people make a living.
– important cities of that time
– what religion were allowed in that colony? what religion were the majority of the people.
– you may end your presentation with interesting facts you find.
you will be graded on many things, including all of the above mentioned details in addition to attractiveness, and creativity.
Remember, the information you include in your presentation should be in your own words.
