The annotated bibliography for your final research paper should have 6-8 secondary sources. It should be formatted as the “Sample Entry for Annotated Bibliography” document that is available under the Writing Skills folder of resources (but remember, of course, that you only need one title for the entire assignment, not a title for each entry).
*****Use the Easy Writer MLA Style Works Cited section to format each bibliography. I will not be nearly as lenient on these mistakes this time around.
If your topic is similar to that of your previous annotated bibliography, revise what already exists and expand upon your research.
Of the 6-8 sources…
at least 4 must be articles from scholarly journals
at least 2 of those articles must be dealing directly with your primary text
the rest of the sources must be credible (e.g., no blogs, no Grade Saver, no Wikipedia, no cult Web sites claiming vampires are real, etc.)
all your sources must be useful for your research paper
1 of your 6-8 sources should function as a naysayer in your paper
Each annotation should..
be at least 150 words long
briefly summarize the argument or main point of the source
evaluate the credibility of the source
reflect on how the source can be used in your research paper
