Need tutorial on NPV analysis for different outcomes. First tab is the assignment’s requirement. Second tab contains company’s statistics. Third tab is the example of how to calculate the NPV for each outcome. I’m completely lost. Help!
For the cash flows, please refer to the 2011 annual report. The bottom of page 22 and the top of 23 talks about increased capital expenditures for AWS. Looks to me like they increased by $900 million in 2011. I am thinking of using this $900 million outlay in calculating payback period. I just need help calculating the estimate for the three possible outcomes.
