I am undergoing a Masters degree in Bio medical education
I am carrying out a study on the ?Perception of students on the learning environment in dental schools in south west Nigeria?.
I will be using the DREEM (Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure) .
I will like a comprehensive literature review addressing the learning environment in dental schools .
Please note that the learning environment in medical schools is all encompassing ( i.e. teaching , learning, physical aspect, social ,psychological, emotional, teacher ?student relationships , peer relationships etc etc. and does involve only the academic environment) .
The DREEM (Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure has the following subscales and measures: Students? perceptions of Learning, Students? perceptions of teachers , Students? Academic Self Perception , Students? perceptions of the Atmosphere and Students? social self-perceptions.
I want all these various aspects of the subscales to be addressed in the literature review.
I will forward a copy of the DREEM questionnaire in which the various subscales have been subdivided for guidance.
I will also forward more details as an attachment concerning the kind of information I want provided for my literature review.
