Two cases on EVA are required: Vyaderm and Duckworth Industries with analysis on the implementation of EVA at both of these companies.
For the two optional cases, I only expect you to use one – EITHER – Gail Palmer Ashton or Media General; both are Balanced Scorecard cases.
We will use our class time so that each of you can write your 2-page Analysis for these cases; again, I expect two cases (Vyaderm and Duckworth) and potentially a third extra-credit case (either Gail Palmer Ashton or Media General).
From a write-up perspective, the Questions asked of you this week are no different from the questions asked during the semester: what are the EVA calcs? What are strengths and weaknesses? How best to implement? What are the proper Balanced Scorecard KPIs? How best to implement?
