B1. GROUP POSTER PRESENTATION (20% of final grade)
Content:
In group you have to create a poster presentation. You have to choose one foreign
company having facilities in the country you selected. Choose a company for which
you can retrieve information and that represents an interesting case to discuss
international expansion as a source of innovation. Discuss the key aspects of the
innovation strategy of the company in a clearly organized winning way. We encourage
you in using ideas, concepts and frameworks you have learned in this course, as well
as in other courses during your studies in Greenwich. You will have to use a 1×1 metre
sheet to present your ideas. Examples of posters will be provided during the tutorials
and some useful links will be put on Moodle.
Delivery:
In the first weeks of the course your tutor and the course leader will inform you about
when the poster presentation session will take place. There will be an assessment day
in which you have to come to present the poster. During the session your peers, the
course leader and tutors and other members of the department will come and ask you
questions about your ideas and the poster. For this reason at any time during the
session at least two members of the group have to stay close to the poster to be able
to present it and answer to questions. All the group members alternately have to visit
other groups’ poster, ask questions and note any interesting idea. A peer evaluation of
another group’s presentation will be indeed part of your group report (see section B2).
Further information about the day, room and the format of the poster presentation will
be given in the first weeks of the course. However it is expected that the group poster
session will take place during Week 33 (beginning Apr 30th).
Group formation and preparation:
In the first weeks of the course groups of 4-6 people will be formed based on tutorials’
composition. For this reason no changes in the timetable are allowed. The course
leader and tutors will create groups and inform students accordingly. It will be students’

responsibility to then choose a country and topic and arrange the group activities.
Further communications will be given during the first tutorials of the course.
