Your paper is based on researching in any library and the Internet and must contain at least five library or Internet sources.
The paper has two major components:
• The term paper, which is to be 5-7 pages or morein length, including
• A bibliography of all your sources used for the project. The annotated version of this bibliography has already been submitted before this stage of the project.The extended paper based on your paper of 5 or more pages in length, excludes the title page, footnotes (or end-notes) and the bibliography page.
All uses of books, essays, etc., must include citations (footnotes or end-notes). The absence of a reasonable amount of footnotes will incur significant reduction in the value of the paper, and is not acceptable. The absence of either (or both) citations and/or bibliography will result in the paper being returned to the student. No credit will be given at that point.
Finally, the paper must be submitted to the Course Project tab, where it will be sent to SafeAssign anti-plagiarism software on the Blackboard website. If problems arise, send an e-mail to me, along with a completed copy of your paper.
This entire project will be worth 50% of your course grade. One letter grade will be deducted from your presentation if it is not submitted completed by the due date.
Please no topics outside the designated time period in European history. You should narrow your paper’s focus to one or two aspects of your topic, as that most subjects can be very broad and deep. Broad discussions of large events or of famous people do not make for good papers.
