Process: Students will conduct an analysis either on a sport organisation, athlete, or event that was
scrutinized by media due to an issue that emerged either within that sport organisation, because of an
athlete`s behaviour, or incident(s) during an event. Students are not limited to issues occurring in

Student requirements for the analysis will include;
1) A brief description of the sport organisation, athlete, or event
2) A detailed description of the issue
3) Identification of stakeholders that were affected by the issue,
4) Identification of ramifications that did occur on stakeholders as a result of the issue and/or likely
future ramifications that may occur and a description of how the issue affected these stakeholders.
5) A discussion of the overall effectiveness and success or failure of either, the sport organisation,
athlete or event management’s strategies to overcome or reduce negative consequences of the issue.
