This requires that you first research the psychological literature on happiness. You should be looking for valid and credible data demonstrating the things that correlate with happiness. once you have a number of key (and credible!) factors, develop a plan to maximize those factors in your life, both currently and throughout the rest of your life. For example, if you say that money will maximize your happiness in life, you must present research that supports this belief, and a plan that will increase your income. This plan will be judged for its realism, as well as its connection to happiness(i.e if you are four foot two inches tall, don’t say you will become an NBA star!)—–The paper will be graded on two key elements. First will be the credibility and extent of the research used to support your plan. Is the research cited relevant to your plan for maximizing happiness? Is the research credible (e.g. more than one citation is necessary for each element of your plan)? The second major part of the paper will be your creation of a plan, based on what you have learned in your research, that you could realistically implement in your life to improve and maintain your level of happiness. Is your plan related to your research findings? Is your plan realistic and feasible given your life circumstances? is your plan detailed enough to judge?
