My proposed topic is “Violence against women in international human rights law and its impact on Saudi law”
I want the research proposal to be as bellow:
1- Title of project
This should be a clear description of the proposed research project.
2- Background and context of project
This section should explain the background and context of the proposed research work with an indication of the main contribution to knowledge which you wish to make. Indicate why this area is an important area for research.
3- Aims and Objectives
Three or four aims/objectives should be briefly described to show what it want to be achieved from the proposed research project.
4- Literature review
This section is a review of the literature which should outline the most important research that has already been carried out in the proposed research area.
5- Research Methodology
This section is a broad outline of the methodology you plan to use including:
• The broad approach – I want to do qualitative approach.
• The method – how data/information will be generated and gathered and how you expect to deal with and analyse that data.
• Indication of any broad theoretical framework you may be using.
6- Research plan and timetable
This section should summarise the steps and approximate timing within a six-monthly schedule over the number of years of candidature for your degree.
7- References
This section is a list of all the references that have been referred to in the Proposal. Harvard style must be used. I want to use 5 academic journal articles and 2 books and 3 anything such as case study, web sites, work papers, paper from legal or other associations or organizations, or any other but they should be available and new (after 2008)
