You will develop a question to research and answer the practical significance to human and environmental sustainable community development (HESCD). You will create a PowerPoint or other media presentation in the form of a lesson plan or action proposal. The final product represents an authentic demonstration of competency because you will be creating links between theory and application. You must use course concepts and resources to demonstrate these links. You will problem-solve by addressing the pros and cons of the project in the community and demonstrate subject matter mastery through the presentation in the organization, content, and delivery of the project as a lesson plan or action proposal. The project is divided into four milestones, which will be submitted at various points throughout the course to scaffold learning and ensure quality final submissions. These milestones will be submitted in Modules Two, Three, Five, and Seven.

To successfully complete this project, you will be expected to apply what you have learned in this course and should include several of the following course outcomes:
Present and develop a sociological overview of how we ought to live
Present the central concepts of human and environmental sustainable community development (HESCD)
Demonstrate an understanding of the concepts presented for HESCD
Compare and contrast the prevailing and emergent paradigms on how to live
Begin a conceptual construction on one topic relevant to HESCD
