This follows on from the attached presentation. In this part of your portfolio you are required to complete a report, as detailed below:
Task: portfolio 3
you write a 3,000 words report which briefly outlines the organization(Samsung) which considered, and then you should show the various elements of the change process. You should say why you have included the elements and how your research, reading and references from module-related topics have influenced your decisions (you have the option to add to or disagree with your findings but should make this clear). Finally you should include a critical evaluation of your proposals strengths and weaknesses. You should include both operational and behavioural aspects in your campaign.

2. How you have linked your management development strategy in your example to:
3a) theoretical issues from the module and
3b) practical issues relating to the organization.
4. Ability to critically analyse own decision-making relating directly to the management of development process.
5. Use of references and report structure
Your report should consist of the following:
1. The nature of development,
o What is the purpose of your call-centre?
o Why does the change need to take place?
2. Indicate the extent, to which the call centre can make high level decisions,
o How much power and influence do you advocate each countries operation has and how much at head-office?
3. What type of development will be necessary to run the call-centre?
o Staff will need to trained to an acceptable standard
4. Indicate the method and timing of the implementation,
o This may help determine success or failure of the venture
5. What cultural difference to you foresee?
o How can you alleviate possible conflict or cultural miss-understanding
6. Managing the global worker
o Consider a main feature of development and retention associated with an individual who is prepared to travel anywhere in the world to gain employment
7. Financial and economic considerations
o This is an important consideration as it will have relevant baring on the company’s decision making

Task: Reflection on your personal and professional development
You are to also write a reflective (2000 words, excluding appendices) account of how you have developed over the period covered by the assignment.
1. You should draw on relevant group, interpersonal and learning theories and use your group learning logs (include as appendices) as evidence to assist your analysis.
2. You should include your brief review of what you have learned from taking part in the visiting speakers programme and the organisational visits.
3. Reflect upon the skills you have developed and how they may help in your future career making reference to your Professional/ Personal Development Plan (Portfolio 1).
