Synopsis on this project:
My project entails the automatic set up of Micropaw 20 Plasma Welders settings. This is usually done by manually turning knobs which are connected to mechanical potentiometers and even though the settings are manually verified by another operator, since they are human, they are liable to mistake. My project involves scanning a barcode on a work order/shop paper into excel, the part number will have associated plasma welder settings within the excel sheet, visual basic will then be used to transmit the plasma welder settings via the usb port of a laptop via an interface board containing digital outputs to a parallel interface digital potentiometer! My agreement with my lecturer was that barcode scanning is not something new so I’ve taken the potentiometer and its control by the interface board to be the section of the project which i will be completing my project on.
1. Could you review/rewrite the methodology section. I have all the main facts included but it needs some work to make it readable and cohesive. More references may be required here but I’ll let you make your best judgement on that!
2. When references are included could they be from sources such as books or previous research papers as I’ve too many internet resources as it is-thanks! 🙂
3. Could you start on the next sections such as Findings and Discussion/Conclusion. I will try add my wording to the middle and end once the structure is there.
4. The 12 pages will be spread out finishing off the methodology, starting the findings and discussion/conclusion.
5. I am due to submit on Monday for binding so I am really under pressure. If you have any time left over could you have a quick scan over the rest of the formating and add in sections which I need to complete such as contents, etc. All help greatly appreciated.
