Title: Provide a brief account (scenario) of no more than 300 words of a particular experience as a learner, teacher connected to an area of the course content presented to you. Explore theoretical concepts related to this, review and critique the extent to which your findings help you analyse the experience.

Here is my scenario:
Throughout my school and college life I achieved good grades through hard work and felt confident in my abilities. I often received one of the highest marks in comparison to my friends and my main goals were to have a successful education in my university life. This is why I was not surprised when I accepted a place in Bath university which is in UK’s top 20 university list. I always put my belief and confidence to the first place of my life and this was helped by the motivation of my peers and siblings. However, when I came to UK, things went downhill. Being away from my parent and peers affected my motivation so does my grades. Being in a new country and in a different culture was completely dissapointing and I started to find everything that we were doing in the lecture was really harsh. In addition when I received low marks from my assingments I felt worthless, like I cannot cope with this course anymore and would never be as clever as before. Then I believe I started to suffer with Generalised Anxiety Disorder as a fear of failure. It came to a head this January exams and I thought to defer my enrolment instead of attending my exams. I discussed my feelings with my parents and peers and they told me that as long as I was trying my best they were proud of me and wherever I am, they will be right there believing me. Then I realised that instead of trying to be best, trying your best is more important. Therefore I turned my attention to trying to my absolute best and keep my motivation high. By the begging of second semester when I received my feedback I was totally surprised. I was expecting fail from one of my subject but instead I got the highest mark from this subject when compared to others. I learned that as long as you keep your confidence and motivation high there is no reason that turn you to be unsuccessful.

I would like you to relate this scenario to attribution, self-esteem, motivation and anxiety concepts. Also please critique the extent to which these findings help to analyse the experience.

Voluntary turnover was 9% in 2009, 6% in 2010 and 11% in 2011. Your CEO/Managing director has approached the HR team and asked them to consider the strategic HRM implications of the organisation’s strategic plan for the next 3 years. The CEO/Managing Director has asked you to prepare a report and to give a presentation to the senior leadership group which outlines the scope of the issue, HRM issues and recommendations as to how HR can support achievement of the strategic plan. Your group must choose one of the following strategic plan scenarios to address: 1.The CEO/MD has just agreed with the Board to explore the possible acquisition of two competitor/like businesses. The first one is based in Queensland and currently employs 30 staff. The second business is in China and currently employs 60 staff. He has asked that the team identify the human resource management implications of the potential acquisitions and recommendations for how HR can assist in the process. Structure of the Report The report should be structured as a business report. However, you will need to consistently and comprehensively reference the sources of the information that you use throughout the document, using the Harvard referencing system. Guidance regarding the structure broad structure of a business report can be found at http://www.flinders.edu.au/current-students/slc/whatweoffer/study-writing-guides.cfm Your report should include Title page Executive summary Table of contents Introduction Body of the report Conclusions and recommendations References Appendices Executive Summary 1.In the executive summary you can use a numbered list to summarise the key findings and recommendations of your report. This should be no more than 250 words in length, and ideally should fit on a single page. Introduction 1.This states the purpose and structure of the report, and identifies the main theme or proposition(s) that you are trying to prove. It tells the reader what to expect. Body 1.In the body of the report, you are trying to build a logical argument that supports the main theme or proposition. The body needs to be consistent with what you have said you are going to do in the introduction. 2.Each paragraph should have a topic sentence, and the points you are making should reflect that topic sentence. 3.You need to refer to theory to analyse the topic you are discussing. 4.Use theory and examples to explain your argument. 5.Remember that you are trying to present a logical, cohesive and clear analysis of the key issues that you have identified, and to use these to support your proposition or theme in a systematic way. 6.DO NOT TRY TO WRITE EVERYTHING THAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THE TOPIC IN THE HOPE THAT SOMETHING WILL BE GOOD. Conclusion and recommendations 1.A conclusion is not just a list of the key points you have made. You need to draw together your key points to demonstrate that you have supported your theme or proven your proposition(s). 2.Your recommendations in this section are more detailed than those included in the executive summary. 3.The conclusion and recommendations need to be consistent with both the introduction and the body of the report. Text Analysis custom essay

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

This assignment, which is made up of five tasks, relates to your study of the readings and activities associated with it. It represents 20% of the overall continuous assessment score.
The overall objective of this essay is to assess your skills of critical evaluation and argument on the basis of grammatical evidence.
You are required to write no more than 1,500 words, but you will also need to present some of your findings in graphical or tabular form. Please indicate at the end of your essay the number of words you have used.

• Task 1 (selection of text)
Choose 2 English compositions written by Arab students in the final year of secondary education in your country. Each one should be 150 words or longer, and the total number of words in the two compositions should be approximately 300-500 words.
You should expect to spend a reasonable amount of time selecting your texts, as your choice of text will potentially affect the quality of your answer. Do not be afraid to reject your initial choice if you come across something better, since you will inevitably have gained insights from the process of selection. However, you need to remember to leave yourself enough time to spend on the analysis of your chosen text.

• Task 2 (initial evaluation of a text’s weaknesses)
Read the texts several times and decide whether their weaknesses lie primarily in the way they have constructed interpersonal, textual or experiential meanings. You need to consider here the grammatical choices in relation to the context of the texts, in other words, to their:
• Field (for example, is the choice of lexis sufficiently technical and specialised or suitably commonplace and accessible?)
• Tenor (for example, does the lexicogrammar construct appropriate social roles and status for the writer?)
• Mode (for example, do the lexical and grammatical choices construe a well organised and structured text consistent with the mode and goal of the piece of writing or do they, for example, make the text too formal?)
. Audience, (i.e. the readers), are the texts addressed to general or specialist readers?
At this stage of the assignment you will only be developing an impression of the text’s overall patterns and weaknesses rather than carrying out a systematic analysis. You do not need to submit the notes that you make at this stage.

• Task 3 (detailed analysis of text)
(You may write up to 750 words on this part of the assignment, but you will also need to present some of your findings in graphical or tabular form.)
You now need to decide on one or two specific areas of grammar to focus on in order to carry out a comprehensive and systematic analysis. You should select those areas which you think will provide most insight into the text’s problems and which account for its lack of high level of communicative effectiveness. For example, you may think the grammar is construing an inappropriate tenor, with the writer sounding too chatty and friendly. You would then need to carry out a comprehensive analysis of key language features associated with tenor (e.g. pronoun use, ellipsis, speech function, colloquial lexis, contraction, forms of address, stance etc.). (On the issue of colloquial lexis, consult a good dictionary which shows judgements on formal and informal usage. Do not pass this kind of judgement without the help of a specialist grammar or dictionary.)
You may, on the other hand, decide that the main problem with each text is its lack of overall structure and therefore decide to analyse patterns of theme choice, including hyper- and macro- theme.
You will need to display the findings of your analysis in a way that is meaningful to your tutor. How precisely you do this is your decision and will, to an extent, depend on the technology you have at your disposal. For example you may use formatting or colour to underline or highlight certain choices within the text. You may also present your findings in table form and give counts of each finding.

• Task 4 (re-writing of text)
Based on the findings of your analysis, rewrite each text to make it more effective in the specific areas of grammar and lexis that you focused on.

• Task 5 (evaluation of re-writing)
(You should write at least 750 words on this part of the assignment, excluding your re-written text.)

Describe the nature of the changes you made, why you made them and how effective you think they are in improving the communicative effect of the texts. You must explain both the inappropriateness of the original texts and the replacements/revisions which you introduced to each.

Sociolinguistic survey custom essay

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

Dear writer, please read the instructions carefully. My order is:

Sociolinguistic survey.
Details of task: This topic asks me to carry out my own sociolinguistic study and present my results in report form. My survey is about (Feminist Language). I collected the data. You just have to write the report.////

-You are required to present your results in report
form.////
-you will need to write up your results
in a report, which should contain the following:
???? An introduction and literature survey.////
???? Methodology and initial hypotheses.////
???? Discussion of results and any problems/ unexpected
findings you encountered.////
???? A clean copy of your questionnaire and explanatory statement as appendices.////

-In this task you need to conduct your own
variationist study.////
-The goal of this assignment is to learn
how to gather and analyse data.////

The hypothesis: needs to be general and cover ALL the material covered in the survey, not just one question. So something like ‘it is hypothesized that female participants will use more gender neutral terms than male participants’ Your hypothesis MUST be grounded in the literature though, so see what past research says regarding the relationship between gender and use of gendered language and formulate an hypothesis around this.////
In the literature part:
-I did my survey in Australia. I prefer to look at the Australian literature. But, you do not need to restrict yourself to Australian literature. But keep in mind that findings from US, UK etc may not be the same as in Australia – this could provide interesting discussion if the Australian participants produce results which conflict with findings from US/UK.
-Please addition to the reference which I sent use another five academic references. Publishing date between 2001-2012 .
– please use the referencing standard of the APA 5 th Edition.////

-As for word counts for each section: As a rough guide though, I’d expect around a third of the report to be intro/lit review, a third on results/ discussion, and the remaining third split between method and conclusion. This is flexible, though, but the bulk of the report should be lit review and discussion of results.////

Remember also that references, tables/graphs, and appendices DO NOT contribute to the word count.////

Note: I will upload important files.
One is called( structuring report).this file is very important please read it carefully.
One is the( The evolution of a great table).
One is a reference which you should use it.
One file for the all males participants.
One for all females participants.////

Criteria for assessment: The report will be assessed on:
*Appropriate participant groups given the research question.////
*Logical initial hypothesis which is well-grounded in the literature.////
*Clear and concise description of methodology.////
*Clear and accurate presentation of the major results of the study.////

*Detailed exploration of selected results of the study.////
*Engagement with relevant literature to support, challenge or explain your analysis of the data.////
*Presentation/ organisation – including accurate spelling and grammar, referencing, general cohesion of the writing.////

In this task you need to conduct your own
variationist study.
???? The goal of this assignment is to learn
how to gather and analyse data.////

Note: I will upload important files.
