FINAL MANAGING CHANGE CUSTOM ESSAY

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

Individual Change Project and Final Paper:
In all likelihood you are not a ?finished product.? [Professor?s Note: I am certainly not one.] By definition you are in university to grow and develop in a number of anticipated ways, and of course in many unanticipated ways. However, personal change is not a given, and it can often be incredibly difficult (talk to someone who has successfully conquered an addiction!). Throughout your life you will often want to change some significant aspect of your behavior or situation. Other times you will need to change something in order to keep a job, nurture a relationship, or realize a goal or dream. In all cases you will be helped by an understanding of the process of change, and of your own tendencies and challenges related to personal change.

Your individual change (aka- self-consulting) project is a semester-long effort that includes an analysis of your current (work/life/education) situation, outlining of one or two specific self-developmental goals, and design and execution of interventions related to each goal. Put more simply, you are going to make a productive change to your life and document your effort.

This is an individual project in which you will identify a desired personal change to implement this term. It involves: (1) a written plan ? the change goal and expected process for implementing the change, (2) a report during the term detailing your progress and reactions on carrying out the process, identifying ways you have connected with others to gain support and achieve momentum in your change, and examining how you are drawing on your strengths and awareness of your limitations to enhance your implementation, and (3) a paper (of 2-3 single-spaced pages) detailing your key learnings about implementing this change. This discussion needs to integrate ideas from the course that were most insightful for you in implementing this change.

This is a highly data-driven project! You will absolutely have to collect detailed data concerning your progress toward your change goals.

Auditing custom essay

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

AF3S21 International Issues in Accounting and Auditing
First International Auditing Assignment
Throughout the international audit element of the module the expression ‘the value of an audit’ is used. In the context of the recent failures (or potential failure) of a number of financial institutions under the banking crisis critically assess this expression in the context of stakeholders in the external audit. Alternatively, you may also select any other significant companies which have failed recently to assess this statement.
In the context of this assignment you should review these financial institutions or company failures in at least two countries (one failure per country) and consider the impact of international auditing standards and issues such as the views of the professional and academic press. You should adopt an analytical and critical approach in your writing style and the assignment is meant to encourage you to express your own views based on the evidence you have gathered in undertaking this task.

Length of assignment 2,500 words (absolute maximum with no plus 10%). You need to fully reference your bibliography. Word length above 2,500 words will be ignored in marking. Please put the number of words used at the end of your assignment ignoring the bibliography in that total. Please also put your enrolment number on each page as header. If you don’t you risk not getting a mark as we will not know whose script it is.
Deadline:- 23 April 2012.
As well as complying with turnitin a hard copy must be given to either myself or Rebecca. This is due to the size of the group and to help us assess your work more easily.
Note on plagiarism
Please note that this is an individual assignment, and any suspected plagiarism will be dealt with through the normal Faculty channels.
Plagiarism is when you take the ideas, thoughts, words or inventions of someone else and present them as your own. It includes copying from fellow students as well as from books, and taking ideas and images from others as well as their actual words. It is a very serious academic offence.
You must ensure that all work submitted for assessment is your own, and has not been previously submitted for any other award or module. When you use source material, either quote it directly using quotation marks, or summarise or paraphrase it in your own words, and cite your source in the text or footnotes. If you take up an idea from someone else, or wish to discuss someone’s critique of a particular theory, you must again cite the source. Only your own original thoughts and evaluations should remain unreferenced.
Plagiarism is an infringement of University Regulations. If you are found guilty of plagiarism, you may be failed in the complete stage of the award, and in extreme cases may be discontinued.

[meteor_slideshow slideshow=”arp1″]

SWK 330- SOCIAL WORK IN COMMUNITY SETTINGS
SPRING 2012

BOOK REVIEW #1- Daughters of Juarez- Teresa Rodriquez

“The Daughters of Ju?rez is a book you cannot put down and will never forget ? it will shock you and it should. The authors have done a remarkable job piecing this horrific puzzle into one lucid account of the atrocities that have befallen Ju?rez, Mexico. This is truly an extraordinary book.”
? Isabel Allende

“The Daughters of Ju?rez not only investigates, with facts and information, but illuminates how innocence and purity are sacrificed almost daily on this desert altar. Teresa Rodriguez’s book can make a difference only if you and I get involved to assure that this will never happen again to anyone.”
? Carlos Santana:

“The Daughters of Ju?rez is a crucial, chilling, and detailed account of the mutilations and murders of hundreds of women and girls in Ju?rez, Mexico. It is a cry for an end to these atrocities and it is a righteous call, after all these years of horror, for justice now.”
? Eve Ensler, Obie Award-winning playwright and founder of V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women
