Ever since I was three, I had opportunities to learn different activities. In order to figure out which extra-curricular activities suit me most, my mother had took me to different classes ranging from riding to painting to swimming. That was the time when I realized what my favorite activity really is, and that was the time when I discovered I had a huge magnetism towards singing. For me, singing is a tool to expressive the inner feeling and also to connect with others. Through singing, I am able to find out my true talent and also my personality.
I began joining junior choir when I was in elementary school. Through all those choir practice, I can feel my passion of singing and how to truly incorporate with my classmates. It is indeed very important to work as a team when you are one of the choir members, and this has allows me to become less self-centered as I know I should become part of the group.
Moreover, I have chances to participate in many competitions since my instructor said it was a good way for me to improve my skills. I had joined Hong Kong Music Festival for consecutively 10 years and also won more than 13 awards. Although among those 13 awards, only 3 awards are titled for myself only, I treat that as the glorious thing in my life.
I am lucky to be the section leader for my choir in High School. We practiced almost 5 hours a day for continuously 1 month during the music festival. This is because I believe if you want to achieve something, you have to work very hard on it. We ended up being the “Best Girls Choir in Hong Kong” and it was definitely my proud.
