Your role in this project is to enhance and optimize the security mechanisms for accessing these systems.

Write a four to five (4-5) page paper in which you:
1. Create an information flow diagram, using Visio or Dia, which:
a. Illustrates how remote users will securely connect to the government agency’s network.
b. Illustrates the patch of network devices that data packets must travel to get from server to remote user’s device and back to server.

2. Provide an equipment list of network security devices that would be needed to ensure the integrity and sensitivity of private information. In this list:

I have posted the raw data for the PE assignment on Blackboard. It is in the form of a spreadsheet in which several De-identified students practicum 1 and 2 midterm and final scores are recorded. There are three scores for each of 14 objectives (this was the way we did it back then) except for the final objective which has only two scores. Next to your name will be either a I or a II indicating whether you will be evaluating practicum 1 or 2 for your selected students. The next number identifies which student data you will use in your PE. The PE should consist of these components: project identification, methodology, data collection, analysis of data, and of course use APA style. It is also a good idea to include an appendix at the end with all your data in it. That saves you having to spell it out in the text. Don’t forget to check you manual about how to put in appendices and refer to them in your text.

In the project identification tell what you are doing; what are your goals, why? Etc. You can also put some background as to the type of PE that you have selected and fit it to your goal. The Methodology section is where you need to describe in detail what steps you will be doing for your selected type of PE. These two sections will require some citations. Data collection is where you describe everything you can about how the data were collected: when, from whom, how it was scored and by whom, etc. In your case you will not be able to answer all of these questions but tell as much as you can about it. The analysis of the data is where you describe exactly how you compared the data to reach a conclusion. Talk about the steps you took to get numbers to compare and what the comparisons mean. If there are problems, talk about them.

In part 2 I show that I am able to apply my expertise in my professional context. Describe briefly the group of students I am thinking of. Explain how I would teach the grammar point (or some aspect of it) and why I would I use the particular approach or material. What makes it likely to be appropriate with the particular group of students? I do not need to design original teaching materials. If I use published teaching material, remember to state the source. In this part, I may want to refer to issues discussed in the Teaching & Learning module.
