*Describe the works in your own words. This paper should primarily reflect your observations and thinking.
*When you quote sentences from a book, or an article, you must indicate the source in parentheses or in a footnote. Neither website (especially
Wikipedia) nor general texts, such as Janson’s History of Art, Stokstad’s Art History, or Gardner’s Art Through the Ages, etc., may be quoted
directly, however, you may relate your topics to works of art learned from the class and the text book.
*. Illustration is not required, if you do want to include pictures, they must be put on separate sheets of paper, not inserted in your text.
* Before comparison, describe and analyze the works in your own words respectively. Assume your readers have not seen the works, but by reading
your paper they have a somewhat clear image of what is under discussion.
