For each of the three BABS dolls, do the following:
1.Build your BAB (choose all of your beliefs).
2.Hit PrtSc button (top right hand corner of keyboard)
3.Open word doc
4.Paste the picture into the word doc
5.Then you will go back and create a new BAB and repeat the steps above until you have completed, copied and pasted all three BABS dolls into a new document.
Once you have created three BABS dolls, do the following:
1) Copy and paste each of the BABS information below including their name followed by their beliefs (you can copy this from the print page in the activity).
2) Review each of the belief systems of each of the BABS you have created. Do the various expressions of beliefs you’ve chosen appear to mesh together or do some of the beliefs expressed appear to contradict each other? If they do, is that contradiction acceptable? If not, you may want to return to the machine and revise the belief system to make it more cohesive.
3) Exchange your three BABS with a classmate or have a friend look them over. Ask them to assess the belief systems outlined in each. Did your classmate or friend find any contradictions or inconsistencies in the belief system of your creations?
4) Based on their belief systems, how do you think each of your BABS would respond to the following hypothetical headlines? Sara
Her beliefs all work together because she lives in a country where other cultures ands languages have been accepted and have influenced each for years because of the close proximity together, but at the same time she loves her own culture but encourages others to learn more about other peoples beliefs . Sara likes how media can have a positive influence on society with bringing information to more people, and can bring and another side to a story so it is not as biset. But is aware that media only shows you what they want you to see, to the benefits of cooperation’s or governments, so it is fitting that she always questions the government and what they are doing and finds alternative forums of media through blogs and other things. So there are really any contradictions.
Freddy
Is very traditional and is a little bit zealous with his beliefs, that women should be in home and men should have the high power jobs, and make the decisions, he xenophobic when it comes to other cultures and is afraid that outside influences will completely take over his. How he believes that his religion is the only true one and the right is very fitting with his charter. But he does not contradict himself because he is very definite with his beliefs in religion, politics, langue and that media should be strongly censored by government, so that in his views young people stay innocent.
Stuart
Is very in tune with nature and his beliefs follow closely, he likes that technology has come in to his culture and opened to new things, but at the same time he is concerned with the fact that it might take over his way of life and that people might not carry on with how their beliefs on passed on.

Their was a not really any contradictions because she was open to new cultures and looked at them as a way to learn and enjoy new things, felt media and the government control what they want us to see, and works toward human rights and making the world better for all.
Freddy
Is very definite on all of his stances that there are different classes of citizens and that they should be treated accordingly with less rights, and that women should stay at home. He feels that the country should just look out for them and be concerned about their stance in the world. And all views work together.
Stuart
His views all fit together he is very in tune with nature and being close it his cares about all people, and preserving the earth.

She might be happy with this because it could people that move to a new country a better chance. He would not like this because he feels jobs should be left to men and women should take care of the home. He might not like this because it could be imposing that country’s beliefs and thoughts on to others.
Environment Minister O.K.’s Drilling for Oil in National Parks
She would probably be unhappy with his because she cares about conserving the world. He would be thrilled with this because he feels that you should do whatever it takes to create more money for the country to have a better standing in the world. He would be very upset that company’s are coming into a previously protected forests and exploiting the earth, for money.
Military Gearing Up for Possible “Liberation Operations”
She would like this because she cares about other country’s and the world becoming a freer place for all people. He might think that it is a waste of money and resources to help other country’s. And that his country’s should just look out for itself. If other people are in trouble then he feels that they should be helped, and areas should be defended.
New Law will Restrict Voting Rights: Only Those with Post-Secondary Degrees will Have the Vote
She would be horrified with this law because all people being equally is very important to her, and feels power does not belong in the hands of the few. He would be very happy, he is not trusting that the population can make correct choices, that if only some could vote it would be better. He would be upset that people do not get a chance to have their voices heard.
